7/5/2023 0 Comments The shades of magic trilogy![]() ![]() The magic system is elemental, so people may have an affinity for one-three elements (water, earth, fire, air, etc.). Red London is brimming with magic, and White London, caught between Red and Black London, is at risk of also falling to dark magic. Black London’s magic went haywire, and the world succumbed to darkness. Gray London is what we would consider our London, as there’s no magic. ![]() The grounding point in each world is “London.” There are four different Londons: Red London, White London, Gray London, and Black London. The trilogy focuses on the basic premise that magic is real, and different worlds function alongside each other. I’ve read the first two books and am currently in the middle of the third. ![]() However, t he Shades of Magic trilogy is my favorite by far. Schwab writes amazing fantasy books, and I have so many recommendations just pulling from her books. It’s been a while since I’ve written a review, but I have a lot of new books I’m excited to talk about this semester! While I haven’t had the most time for reading recently, I have been slowly making my way through t he Shades of Magic series. ![]()
